In-Person Absentee Voting:

On June 29, 2020 the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals issued its ruling in the One Wisconsin Institute case that had been on appeal since 2016.
Effective Immediately:
In-person absentee voting may be conducted beginning no earlier than 14 days prior to each election and ending no later than the Sunday prior to election day.  No in-person absentee voting is allowed on the Monday prior to election day.  Wis. Stat. § 6.86(1)(b).

Currently, we plan to have In-Person Absentee Voting available in the Clerk’s Office:
October 20 – October 30th, from 8 – 4.
This is subject to change as we continue to monitor Covid-19 crisis.

Please enter the building using the entrance on the Windmill Plaza, access will not be available from the Grand Ave entrance. We will have strict social distancing and safety measures in place, this means a limited number of voters will be allowed in the building at a time. We are anticipating a longer wait time and voters will be asked to wait outside if we are over capacity. Please consider this when deciding how and when to vote.

The safety and health of our staff and voters is the number one priority. Availability and hours may change from day to day.  We will continue to update our website  and facebook should changes occur.
